Maddie, on your point about coming from a completely Caucasian family, as I mentioned in my blog this week my dad is Italian, and until the discussions this week I have always viewed my family as looking quite similar except in the summer time. But thinking about when my siblings and I were younger I am sure many people viewed us in that way. Friends and family would always comment about how my dad one Canadian and two Italian children. I guess my view of my family is similar to the couples in the video not viewing themselves as any different from one another.
