It gives a quick review of all the subspecialities tested in the exam - Best initial test, Most accurate test, Next best step etc. The chapter on Preventive Medicine is too short, but I guess , not everything can be thoroughly covered in a single book. Overall, a great buy. I would strongly recommend to cover this book with Kaplan high yield lectures for a high score!
See all 3 reviews. Most helpful customer reviews on Amazon. The "organization" of this book makes my head spin. PROS - Has an individual section on each of the following topics: The topics in this section really should be intermixed with the respective organ system sections. And they both basically say the same thing…. What happened to the different types and the paraneoplastic syndromes?
Put lung cancer in Pulmonary and elaborate on it a bit, please. This book is pages. Again thank you so much for you effort and hardwork. One of the best resources to go for step1. Anonymous commented at 5: I admire the highlighting of points too. But I think a separate page for 'abbreviations' may be helpful. I wish I could do something to support you guys, you rock: I just arrived here by chance and you already helped me greatly!
This is a great site! Thank you to everyone whose worked on it!
The organization of the separate headers and tabs dividing the topics and questions specifically tailored to the topics are all really helpful! Thank you so much for this wonderful site,I and other applicants appreciate it. Best free usmle study site ever!!!! Congrats , thank you very much: Love the snap shots at the beginning of the subject, made me focused in the high yield information.
This medbullets started as a complete free site. It has grown up so much with the active contributions from many who fed information into it. It is some one's good thoughts of creating such a site, but now, it is partly a free and partly a money making. I hope this will continue to be a complete free site sincerely helping the medical community, since the knowledge anyone gain from this site will only be used to help anyone to have a better health.
After all the best health is the best wealth some one can have. Keep up the great work! Thank you so much! You really work hard to keep it updated. I really appreciate this. One of a kind! I gotta hand it to you. You basically took all the sources and then organized them by bugs and organisms. That's what I wanted to do for this whole time, but I didn't have the time or man power to do it.
Can I join your team. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful resource. I hope I am to contribute to the site soon! This website is too good.
Chronic leukemia is what kind of cell?
Impeccable, please keep up the great work!! I rarely reference sites this often due to excessive detail that I tend to get lost in. I love how the main points are kept as the focus, because we all have books we can reference for details.

The simplicity really helps in memorizing key points about certain topics that one can get boggled down on with too much information. Thank you so much for this website, Im glad it randomly came up on one of my google searches, now its been bookmarked and visited on a daily basis!! I recommend making a phone app. Love the continual updates and references you utilize when creating the content. One pet peeve I have is the low resolution icon of medbullets logo on the top left Keep up the good work! Moderator feedback is incredible a phenomenal resource I don't know what I would do without you guys!!
Really absolutely great site, better than any till now for usmle preparation,it is like my my personal notes all compiled together easy to find and all the important things needed for the exams. Your website is amazing. I am not during the usmle since practising in UK, but have found the context extremely helpful. Just discovered this site. Great questions, and great explanations with references. Thanks for putting this together, I would highly recommend it to others.
I love this website!

The questions are great. The only thing I would recommend is creating a daily quiz of 5 questions that can be emailed to subscribers each day. Another suggestion would be to create a mobile app or mobile version of the website for the question bank. The organization of this website is amazing I'd make a list for class lectures rather than read powerpoints.
Love this site, glad I get to use it during path. University of Maryland medical student, studying for step 1 test coming up in a few weeks. This site is great, love all the pictures, and "bullet" points! Thank you so much. I passed it along to our class facebook group hope you don't mind.
The images that go along with each question are extremely helpful. This is pretty fantastic. I'm just curious - what is the OITE exam? I would love to triage my Step 1 studying based on highest-yield subjects, just curious about the referent. It has been my 1 resource going through medical school and now studying for the STEP. Thank you, I greatly appreciate it! I just want to thank you guys for setting this website I just wanted to say that you guys are doing a great job with this site.
Hope it stays the same once the number of users increase. Thank you for Medbulets. You guys ROCK big time! I came across this site by accident and I must say I am beyond pleasently surprised!!! I am in an obscene amount of debt coming from a Caribbean medical school and do not have the resourses to be able to invest in multiple Qbanks. This site has material that is straight forward in bullet form with review questions and a Qbank that is free!!!
I will be sharing this with all my medical school colleagues!! Thanks so much for putting this site together.
It's a great resource, especially the free test bank. You guys are the best! I love this website to use as a quick reference when studying for step. One way it could be improved is by adding clinical vignettes for every single disease. I love reading the vignettes because they help me to better create a "picture" of a patient in my mind when studying a particular disease.
Just found this site as I start my study period for step 1 and am loving it! This website is awesome. The design is user friendly and clean. I absolutely love this site! I use it for a quick review and to go back and identify areas that I might have forgot high yield points in. The one thing I would hope that you all expand on more is surgical procedures!
Otherwise, keep doing what you are doing: Just want to echo the other comments on here in saying this is such a wonderful resource. I'm almost exclusively using it to study for my Cardio exam for med school in a couple days. It contains just about all of the high-yield information we need to know. Thank you for a fantastic review, and please don't change a thing! I would be okay with more practice questions of course, but the format is just perfect. This is an incredible resource that I will definitely use to study for Step 1.
It is a perfect supplement to go along with First Aid. While the two are almost equally succinct, this site somehow has been helping me clarify things that are not explained in enough detail to me in First Aid. I think once enough people discover this site, this could become very popular not just for boards, but med school in general. I think i am lucky I found it 15 days before my exam! It is very simple and easy to use, and the info is perfect for last minute revision. I was just wondering what are you sources for your Qbanks? Just wanted to acknowledge the great project you have at Medbullets.
I remember using Orthobullets during my surgery rotation. It is great to see something for boards with a similar concept.
