Is there someone in your network who's doing what you want to be doing one day? If so, reach out to them. You don't have to walk up and say, "Will you be my mentor?

You spend your time researching or reading up on topics related to your project. You turned what was once a daunting or dreadful activity into one that is complex and engaging. This is how we grow. This is how we get better. Instead, enjoy the process of investing your energy into something, and enjoy the pain that comes along with it.

In other words, struggle and enjoyment will start to mean one and the same thing.
